K-9, My Robotic Dog

Good news. I have found most parts I need for its' head. Recently, I went to Big Lots store and saw Martha Steward wedding stuffs. I came across a battery operated garland for 2 dollars.

I was just checking it out and somehow popped in my mind. Hey! Just what I need! To light up K-9's eyes. Finally!

Then for a funny reason, when I visited my mom's home... I found some red things in kitchen drawer.. right size for eye.... I was like, "Mom? Do you need them?"

"What's for?"

"For make eye.."

"Fine. Take it, take them."

I took just 5 of them cuz K-9 actually has 5 red bars over eyes.

Now I can finish it. I'm going to finish it in July after holiday.

Here's my photo that I already had its body all done. All I am waiting for is the head to be done.

My Clay Unicorn

I made it long time ago (5 years). The idea I got from a stone unicorn statue. Really small one like a bit over an inch tall. I tried to mix it with some sort of flakes and some glitter. That idea was from faux opal polymer clay. I'm just experimented with it. I sculpted it into 3.5 inches tall unicorn then baked it. The result is this.

The leftover clay I had was already made into bracelet as seen in my previous post.

My Jewelry Crafts

Long ago, can't remember when but I was playing around with polymer clay to create bracelets. You can see my photo on right. I tried to mixed flakes with some of transparent clay.

Other one was what I was trying to create cane then cut in many pieces.

Two were tests for me and I'm glad that it worked.

The next one was rosary. I made it with glass beads. I believed it was two years ago. This is first and then I made three more and two small ones for young children. They love it. They suggested me should sell things like that. Maybe I will.

My K-9 Project

This is my currently project but is put on hold because I can't find the specific part for its eyes...

It's K-9, a robotic dog from TV series Doctor Who. I just wanted to show lighted part on the back of K-9. This photo was taken in late Nov. 2008. I am still looking for "eyes" part which is a bunch of red bars. I have looked everywhere for it. I would have to find other way to create red bars. I wish I would have found it so I can paint it.... get over with it then have it following me anywhere I walk (just kidding) Ugh!!!! I can't believe it's hard to find that part... grrrr... I added small photo of TV's K-9 for compare. For some strange reason, I like color white... but I'm sure it gets dirty easily. Aw... I have blue paint ready and waiting....

My Doctor Who Scarf

This is my frist DW craft.

Yep, a long crazy scarf as seen in Doctor Who TV series. 4th Doctor (Tom Baker) wore it.

It took me almost a year to finish it because I do not have much free time... always being busy plus sometimes my hands hurt.

While knitting it, my first and half project was this pod of Isolus Child as seen in DW episode "Fear Her." This photo is old because it was in polish stage.

My Other Little Adipose

This one is made of fleece which is softer than felt. Comfortable!
I am not going to let anyone to touch it... after what happened to my felt one.
Yep, I made few adjustments to it. I'm trying to make it looks around.

Both adiposes I had are about 10 inches tall.

My Little Adipose

I found some cool Doctor Who crafts to make. This is my first one. (Actually second.) I have fun with it. I made one out of felt material...

It's cute. It's making me laugh...

But when young kids saw mine, they grabbed and ran off with it... lol... little girl seemed take a liking to it.

Hmmm...

I made it for first time... not bad but I know what to watch out next time I make another. Really, most of it is just fine except top part (top of head) is not even. I fix it few times. I stuffed it today. As new until kids ran with it, its surface already started to fuzzy...

Give me back my adipose!
